Who is JAGSAHC?
The short answer is, Just A Guy Sitting At His Computer.
The long answer?
I'm Dan
Racette, and I'm older than the Internet. Not the concept, but the actual "Network of Networks".
I've been working
on computers since the 1980s. I've programmed computers. I've been a Systems Analyst. That's a fancy way of saying
I've done all of the mundane tasks that Microsoft has gotten good at making automatic, so you don't have to worry about them any longer.
Plug and Play. When it works, it's a beautiful thing!
I've worked on computers from the Midrange AS/400 Series systems
by IBM down to the custom built workstations I put together. Throw in some Apple IIe and Commodore 64 type machines, and some
of you will get a hint as to exactly how long I've been doing this.
I've been on the bleeding edge of technology for a while.
It can be intimidating if you aren't sure what you are doing,
and financially, it can be downright painful if you don't understand
it.
Think of me as a sort of mechanic. But instead of working on cars, I work on computers.
The machines I work
on travel the Information Superhighway.
And that isn't a place you want to break down.
I'm the guy driving the Information
Superhighway Towtruck.
Whether you use a personal vehicle or have a whole fleet...
I'll get you running again and keep you running.
